Palm Leaf Plates Vs. Plastic Plates: Which One Is Better?

As we all know from the previous post, disposable plastic dishes such as dinner plates are a massive problem for the environment. Traditional disposable plates are made from single-use plastic, which takes hundreds of years to decompose. As a result, when customers have finished their food, the plates are thrown away and the plates used end up in our landfills contaminating our soils and our waters.

Since the decomposition time of the panels exceeds the limits required by many composting plants, they can be recycled into other polypropylene products. Plates and bowls are refrigerator safe, but they tend to be in humid environments, so it is advisable to use them chilled before throwing them away. They are microwave safe so you can reheat the meal after service, which is convenient for catering purposes.

Palm leaf plates are the best option for natural and environmentally friendly disposable crockery. Party plates made from palm leaves, bamboo plates and wooden plates are made from biodegradable materials, which means that they are organic and can be disposed of without damage.

Bamboo boards are made from organic materials and 100% biodegradable and compostable - in other words, they decompose into nutrient-rich organic substances that can be used to fertilize plants. Unlike plastic sheets, which can contaminate food with chemicals, bamboo sheets are antimicrobial and do not contain chemicals that can penetrate food. Made from FDA-approved polypropylene material, these panels have special additives that allow them to biodegrade.

Unlike other environmentally friendly boards such as disposable bamboo boards, no chemicals and toxins are used to bind and coat the boards. The areca palm is the most commonly used plant for making disposable plates, as its fronds fall to the ground. Otherwise bamboo boards have their own natural aroma and woody consistency.

They look beautiful, are more durable than cheap plastic or cardboard plates and can be used for any occasion for which you prefer to do without standard ceramic plates and want a nice ambience. Disposable bamboo plate are used for outdoor events such as casual gardens, weddings, pool gardens, bachelor parties, conferences, picnics, birthdays, barbecues and quick family meals. When used, the slabs are placed on the compost heap, where they are broken down in four to six months.

Disposable areca sheets are characterized by excellent thermoregulatory properties that allow them to withstand low and high temperatures without any problems. In addition, they can be used in microwave ovens, leak-proof, compostable and recycl

able. In addition, disposable bamboo plates look more beautiful and are more durable than plastic or paper tableware. As such, they are an attractive option for those who organise fancy outdoor events with hundreds of people where the use of ceramic tiles is not feasible.
